Biography

Lynne Damianos is the principal photographer of Damianos Photography, a small award-winning creative team that has provided distinctive photography and photographic consulting services for over 30 years. She earned her BS in Professional Photography from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her specialties include photography of architecture and interiors, products and people for business.

Lynne is an active educator, presenting a wide variety of photography seminars to professionals, students and companies. She is a faculty member of the Danforth Museum and Keefe Tech Continuing Education in Framingham. In 2004 she was a photographer-in-residence with the Holliston and Framingham High School as part of a grant project titled Capturing Architecture Past and Present.

Lynne is a former national board member of the American Society of Media Photographers, past president of the Commercial Industrial Photographers of New England and an active member of Fountain Street Studios in Framingham’s Bancroft mill building where her studio is located. She is currently mentoring one of the first female professional photographers in Afghanistan as part of the Thunderbird School of Global Management’s Project Artemis program.

Lynne is the author/photographer of The Bancroft Building – 100 Years of History and has recently developed a line of DigiGreyShop products to aid photographers and videographers in achieving accurate color/white balance.

Her personal work includes two series of photographs – NatureScapes and BuildingScapes – which show details of natural subjects and the built environment in an abstract, vibrant way.
